    Questions/Resources:

  • What tools are you using to develop your courses? (Adobe Captivate, Adobe Connect/Presenter)

  • Create templates, re-use, re-use, re-use, re-use

  • What is a SCO? Define a SCO? Shareable Content Object, A piece of instructional content, Examples: piece of text, image, flash animation, an entire module or lesson

  • Re-usable SCO’s, reality or myth? This has not worked really well in many organizations. It is dificult at a granular level.

  • What is SCORM? (Shareable Content Object Reference Model). It is a standard for eLearning. Tag the module by topic, and place on LMS

  • What is an LMS? (Learning Management System) At what point should I get an LMS? What size or scale of project? Size not always important, the organizaztional goals should drive this. Do you need to measure or not?

  • Any suggestions on an LMS? Moodle is a great, open source LMS, free but implementation and support is needed. Might not be worth it if you do not have IT help.

  • If they want a training, how do I know what to ask them? Start with a needs analysis. Here is an example.

  • Is this a skills//training problem? Do a human performance analysis. Here is an example

Please feel free to edit or update any of this information. Thanks again for attending and participating!
